AFTER the house of cards that is Digital Rights Management began to crumble when EMI , Apple and finally Amazon announced plans to offer DRM-free digital music for sale, I naively wondered when the DRM-free music was coming South.
Monthly music service continues (The Sentinel)
The Ickesburg United Church of Christ continues its monthly music series at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 24, with a gospel program by outstanding local pianist Jim Bramer and vocalist Carl Smith, from the Liverpool area. Smith and Bramer have been entertaining for several years locally at hymn sings, banquets, family gatherings and during worship services.
Music fest benefits veterans (The Sentinel)
A country music festival will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Lupfer?s Grove to benefit Perry County veterans in need.
